(myb not all malay can esp the one with heavy accent)
what do you think???this is my opinion..what yours??

My opinion is that you should learn English better and learn more about a little something called grammar. Ever heard of it?

Tips for Adults Learning Portuguese
Learning Portuguese as an adult is not the same thing as learning it as a child. Children pick up language intuitively, without having to be taught grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. When learning their first language, they have nothing to compare it to, and they can offer learn a second language the same way.
Adults, on the other hand, then to learn a language by comparing it to their native language – learning about similarities and differences. Adults often want to know why something is said a certain way in the new language, and tend to be frustrated by the usual response “that’s just the way it is.” On the other hand, adults have an important advantage in that they choose to learn a language for some reason (travel, work, interest) and being interested in learning something is very helpful in one’s ability to actually learn it.
Start learning what you actually want and need to know
If you’re planning a trip to Portugal, learn travel Portuguese (airport vocabulary, asking for help). On the other hand, if you’re learning Portuguese because you want to be able to chat with the Portuguese woman who lives down the street, learn basic vocabulary (greetings, numbers) and how to talk about yourself and others – likes and dislikes, family, etc. Once you’ve learned the basics for your purpose, you can start learning Portuguese related to your knowledge and experiences – your job, your interests, and from there onto other aspects of Portuguese.
Learn the way that works best for you
If you find that learning grammar is useful, learn that way. If grammar just frustrates you, try a more conversational approach. If you find textbooks daunting, try a book for kids. Try making lists of vocabulary – if that helps you, great; if not, try another approach, like labeling everything in your house or making flash cards. Don’t let anyone tell you that there is only one right way to learn.
Repetition is key (Rosetta Stone Portuguese Version does this well)
Unless you have a photographic memory, you’re going to need to learn and practice things a few or even many times before you know them. You can repeat exercises, answer the same questions, listen to the same sound files until you feel comfortable with them. In particular, listening and repeating many times is very good – this will help you improve your listening comprehension, speaking skills, and accent all at once.
Learn together
Many people find that learning with others helps keep them on track. Consider taking a class; hiring a private tutor; or learning along with your child, spouse, or friend.
Daily learning
How much can you really learn in an hour a week? Make a habit of spending at least 15-30 minutes a day learning and/or practicing.
Above and beyond
Remember that language and culture go hand in hand. Learning Portuguese is more than just verbs and vocabulary; it’s also about the Portuguese people and their art, music… – not to mention the cultures of other countries around the world. Here are some guidelines that can help you learn Portuguese as an adult.
Have fun
Make your Portuguese learning interesting. Instead of just studying the language with books, try reading, watching TV/movies, listening to music – whatever interests you and keeps you motivated.Have a goal If you get discouraged, remember why you want to learn. That goal should help you concentrate and stay inspired.Track your progress Keep a journal with dates and exercises to make notes about your progress. Then you can look back over these milestones when you feel like you’re not getting anywhere.
Don’t stress over mistakes
It’s normal to make mistakes, and in the beginning you’re better off getting several sentences out in Portuguese than just two perfect words. If you ask someone to correct you all the time, you will get frustrated.
Don’t ask why
There are lots of things about Portuguese that you’re going to wonder about – why things are said a certain way, why you can’t say something another way. When you first start learning is not the time to try to figure this out. As you learn Portuguese, you will start to understand some of them, and others you can ask about later.
Don’t translate word for word
Portuguese is not just English with different words – it is a different language with its own rules, exceptions, and idiosyncracies. You must learn to understand and translate concepts and ideas rather than just words.
Don’t overdo it
You’re not going to be fluent in a week, a month, or even a year. Learning Portuguese is a journey, just like life. There is no magical point where everything is perfect – you learn some, you forget some, you learn some more. Practice makes perfect, but practicing for four hours a day might be overkill.

Have you ever used Rosetta Stone for Spanish or another Latin based language?
Basically what the question asks. Have you ever used the computer based language software Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish or another Latin based language like French, Italian, or Portuguese? How long did you use it, did you complete all or most of the lessons/levels, and did it work for you?
If you’ve used it for another language like German or Dutch feel free to answer but I’m planning on using it for Spanish or one of the other major Romance languages.
I haven’t personally used but I’ve read it only teaches how to get by. They’ve also said it’s not worth your money .

Why do the English call Deserts Puddings?
I hear it in the TV show Heston’s Feasts where Heston Blumenthal calls the overall sweet course of a meal Puddings and the sub-set of those Deserts. Here in Australia the sweet course of a meal is Desert, and Pudding is a form of desert. Like Sticky Date Pudding.
So why do the English call Deserts Puddings?
Whoops, may bad, that’s desserts, not deserts
Not all puddings are desserts. In England we have savoury puddings too, such as Black Pudding, Yorkshire pudding and Steak and kidney Pudding.
It depends from which part of the country you are from and what kind of dessert you are eating. Northern People from England tend to call their desserts puddings.
The word pudding is believed to come from the French boudin, originally from the Latin botellus, meaning “small sausage,” referring to encased meats used in Medieval European puddings.
A pudding is something heavier and is either baked, steamed or boiled and will usually contain eggs, flour, suet and butter.

Is The iPed Chinese iPad Clone Any Good? Should You Buy One?
I’ve begun to get a lot of emails this summer since these Chinese replicas have started coming out. It’s becoming pretty obvious that the iPed is becoming the front runner and is the clone which is the best known of the bunch. People have started to ask me if this model is relatively decent and worth the money. I will try to address those concerns in the following article.
Not All iPeds Are Created Equal: Here’s the thing with the iPed’s. This terms has become a sort of catch all phrase and many sellers are selling many different models under this same umbrella. You have to really look at and examine what you’re getting.
Because some of the earlier models have slower processors, older operating systems, and less memory. Your happiness with the knock off tablets depends on defining how much you want to spend and then defining what you want. For example, you can get a basic android knock off tablet for $50 that is going to allow you to play videos and music, check your email, read ebooks, watch YouTube, browse the web, take notes, do word processing, etc. If this is all you need, then you’d likely be very happy with one of the cheaper models.
But, if speed, high definition, and 3G is important to you, then you may want to splurge for the rockchip iPeds which use the fastest processor. (You can see examples here.) These models are less buggy, much faster, don’t have the lag time, and can use 3G. They’re also not that much more expensive, coming in at around $150. This is still tons cheaper than the original price tag of over $500 and this version is, at least in my view, very close to the original and is manufactured by Foxconn, the same company which makes the original version.
So, Is It Worth Buying A Chinese iPed?: That truly depends upon what your wants and needs are. If you are looking for a cheaper way to use the features of the original in similar housing, but you don’t want to pay a premium for the name brand, then the Chinese knock off will certainly accomplish this. The feedback and customer satisfaction on the rockchip models is quite high. With that said, people who just want a basic tablet and ebook reader are usually happy with the cheaper models if the absolute fastest speed isn’t an issue for you.
It’s important to understand that the Chinese knock offs use the open source android operating system. So, you’d be getting your applications and games from android market. Some people like that this is an open source and some don’t. Another consideration is that the clone tablets have a smaller screen at seven inches (although there are some 8 inch iPeds) rather than the 9.7 inches of the original. Some people actually like the smaller size and others don’t.
I think the real question becomes if you’re just looking for all of those features in a tiny tablet and if the status of the original is important to you. The clones can most definitely provide the features in similar housing with an open source operating system that is growing (android.) They are also a lot cheaper. I find that some people buy the clones just to play around with the features while they are waiting for the cost of the original to come down. Many times, they find they’re quite happy with their knock off and end up just keeping it. It’s my opinion that the iPed can definitely be worth buying. But it helps to identify which chip and version is most appropriate for you.
If you want to see how good the iPed really is, you can read a review, and see video, close up photos, full specifications, and real time pricing at the iPed Review Website located at http://tabletclonereview.com/.
